Gov. Scott Walker signs bill for Fox Locks

Posted on Apr 15, 2016 by

Thank you to all who visited the bill signing! The legislation augments the statues under which the Fox River Navigational System Authority operates–and paves the way for constructing a visitors center at Appleton Lock 3. As part of the day, Governor Scott Walker was made a locktender for a day, and area 4th graders joined in the celebration. The new visitors center will contain classroom space designed to help teach elementary school children about local history.

Take a moment and review some of the onderful media coverage from the event, and photos!
