IMPORTANT UPDATES:
If you’re planning to watch the Appleton fireworks from the water, you can have a great view of the displays at Memorial Park ON JULY 3. Because the fireworks are on the 3rd (and not the 4th) all Appleton locks will be open from 6pm until Midnight. Special extended hours to watch the big bang!
The Little Chute locks have been fixed and are open for the 4th of July weekend.
The City of Appleton notified us that the Olde Oneida Street Bridge should be fixed by the 4th of July. This bridge is between Appleton Lock 1 and Appleton Lock 2 and was not in operation last weekend. Please be advised that if the bridge is still closed, most boats can still travel under the closed span if there’s enough vertical room.
