For paddlers, portages are available at many of the locks on the system. Plans are currently underway to
improve the existing portages so please stay tuned to this page for more information. If you are new to the sport, consider contacting Northeast Wisconsin Paddlers https://newp.club/ for group trips and outings. We have portages at the following locks:
- All four Appleton locks
- Cedars
- Little Chute
- Kaukauna Lock 5
- Little Kaukauna
- De Pere
