Update on Little Chute lock operations

Renovations at the Little Chute lock were completed about a year in advance, but there’s still work to be done. The new bridge in Little Chute is not yet operational and the cleaning process in the Little Chute canal is ongoing. As a result, the lock and the bridge will not be in operation this Memorial Day weekend. There has not been water in this canal for many years, so the cleaning process is on a day-to-day basis while we inspect and test the lock machinery.
